Day 1: Arrive At Entebbe International Airport
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and after finalizing with the formalities, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your accommodation for an overnight.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide as you start your safari to Murchison Falls National Park. Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary along the way where you will trek the Southern white Rhinos. Later proceed to the park for an overnight with a visit to the top of Murchison falls – (The most powerful waterfall in the world).

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is home to the endangered Southern White Rhinos that were re-introduced to Uganda after their extinction. Ziwa is a non-profit organization that was set up with a long term aim of protecting the Rhinos against poachers. It is the only place in Uganda to get up close with the Rhinos in their natural habitat. An experienced ranger guide will walk you to these magnificent creatures. During the walk, you may also encounter other wildlife species like antelopes and a variety of bird species.

Day 3: Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise to Murchison Falls
This day, you will have a morning game drive in the park and later in the afternoon go for a scheduled boat ride to the bottom of Murchison Falls where you have spectacular views of the Great River Nile as it squeezes into a 7m gap and plunges 43 meters below thunderous roars and at the bottom basks huge Crocodiles.

Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park is located in the North-western part of the country and is Uganda’s biggest National Park. It is well known for its healthy growing population of 76 mammal species living in varied habitats such as Savannah, papyrus swamp, woodland and open water. The major activity here is game drives across the beautiful open Savannah in search of Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, Elephants, Giraffes to mention but a few whiles also spotting various bird species.

Day 4: Fly to Kibale Forest National Park, Afternoon at Leisure
Have another morning game drive or decide to have the morning at leisure. Thereafter, you will be transferred to Pakuba Airstrip for a flight to Kasese Airstrip. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your guide and drive to Kibale Forest National Park, your home for the next two nights. Have the rest of the afternoon at leisure or visit the crater lakes in the region.

Kibale Forest National Park
This 760km² area of rainforest, interspersed with patches of grassland and swamp, supports a rich variety of fauna, 250 species of animal and around 375 bird species. There are 13 different primates here, the highest total for any Ugandan National Park, including a large population of chimpanzees, some of which have been habituated. The main activity in Kibale Forest National Park is chimpanzee tracking. The Bigodi Swamp walk, community walk and birding are all recommended as well.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking, Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary Walk
After breakfast, you will go for Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk in the Bigodi wetland which is a community initiative.

Chimpanzee trekking
Chimpanzee tracking is a fascinating experience. You will be allowed to spend some time (at most an hour, unless doing a habituation experience) with our mesmerizing relatives, as you observe them swing from one tree to another, feed, play about or progress speedily on the ground right in front of you. The track lasts 3 to 5+ hours depended on where the Chimpanzees are. Chimpanzees are the most sought-after primate by visitors in this park, but you should also look out for the black & white colobus, red tailed monkey or the Grey Cheeked Mangabey. Your guides will be able to show you pittas & other bird species and will give details of the plant species within the forest.

Day 6: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Evening Game Drive
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you will visit the Kasenda Crater lakes and later proceed to the park. Afternoon game drive in the park.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Lying across the equator, this 1,978km² park is bordered to the Southwest by Lake Edward and to the Northeast by Lake George, with the Kazinga Channel connecting the two. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world, with almost 100 mammal species and an incredible 606 bird species. To support such biodiversity, the vegetation is hugely varied from open Savannah to rainforest, from dense papyrus swamps and crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. The rainforest in the Kyambura Gorge is home to chimpanzees and the remote Ishasha Sector is famed for its tree-climbing lions, with flamingos providing a stunning splash of color on the crater lakes. Game drives, game walks and cultural activities entice visitors here.

Day 7: Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Morning game drive on the Kasenyi plains, a popular mating ground for the Uganda Kobs and a hunting ground for the Lions. In the afternoon go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This will allow you to experience wildlife up close where hippos huff and spray mere feet away, Buffaloes linger in the shallows and a tremendous variety of birds grace the grasses on the river’s edge.

Day 8: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
This morning, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, the home of Mountain Gorillas with a game drive in Ishasha, the Southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This place is famously known for the tree climbing Lions. You will later proceed to the park, check in and unwind at your accommodation.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Nestled down in the Southwest part of the country, on the edge of the Western Rift Valley this 331km² of montane rainforest is the only forest in Africa where gorillas and chimpanzees occur together. Half of the world’s Mountain Gorilla population lvies in Bwindi. In addition, this ancient rainforest – one of the few in Africa to have flourished throughout the last Ice Age (making it over 25,000 years old) – is home to several other mammals (approximately 93 species) as well as roughly 360 species of bird, including 22 of the 23 Albertine Rift endemic species. The most sought-after activity in and around Bwindi is gorilla tracking.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Up relatively early for a hearty breakfast to give you the energy needed for your gorilla track. By 08h00, report to the ranger station for registration and a talk by one of the rangers. The guides will then take you through the bush pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. The track can take from half an hour to 7 hours – a good degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes. Once you have located the Gorillas, you will be allowed a period of 1 hour to spend with them while you observe how they go about the daily activities and also you will be allowed to take some pictures.

Day 10: Fly To Entebbe and Depart
Transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your morning flight to Entebbe International Airport and connect to your flight back home.
